Comments: Lisa: my crybaby you'll be

The first time I heard that "Christmas Shoes" song was in my car. I rolled my eyes at the saccharine lyrics. And then I started crying against my will.

Manipulative producers...

I think the words mommy (in the case of Christmas Shoes) and daddy (Butterfly Kisses) are triggers somehow. I am fine until they bust out mommy and daddy.

But then how do you explain The Notebook?

There is no explanation, except for subliminal triggers. It's like the cinematic, crying version of the brown note (explained here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_note). THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO AVOID IT.

Favorite children's books (besides the obvious Dr. Seuss): The Wolf Who Cried Boy (SO funny!), Suppertime, and Round Trip. Check 'em out. I discovered two of them while teaching preschool in the past year.

Lisa has posted... from the future! Are you guys talking about that song "I'll Build You a Rainbow"? Because I find it strange and disturbing...

Dave, I was totally thinking the same thing. Since the girls have decided to "post" every day this month, we might as well plan on seeing a "Happy Thanksgiving" post sometime this week.
In case I am behind by the time this comment is posted, Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Hey, cut us some slack! We won't get more than a day ahead, and that is merely to cover our butts in case of emergency. Sheesh. HI RYAN!! I didn't know you were even still reading. Good to see you, even if you emerged from seclusion only to mock our posting habits...
