What if I tear it up into teeny tiny pieces?

We used to tear or cut up these things and make sure the various parts were thrown away in different locations. Seriously --- I'd take some of my garbage to work and throw it away there in order to significantly reduce (if not eliminate) the possibility to reconstruction and identity theft. Paranoid, I know.

But then we moved into a place that has a garden plot, and now we shred every paper that comes to us, and till it into the garden twice a year. The paper provides bio-mass to break up the clay content in our soil, and the toxins in the ink make our vegetable plants glow at night.
