Looks great!
Posted by Michelle Glauser at July 2, 2008 03:03 PMCute! Where are you buying the shoes?
Posted by lisa at July 2, 2008 03:10 PMI got them at Nordstrom. They look more like adult shoes in person. And the heel is taller than it looks (4 in, I think?) and there's a platform inside. I'm not 100% sold on them yet, but I figured they'd work if I didn't find anything better.
Posted by sarah at July 2, 2008 03:25 PMum, shoes are not really the right color for your day skirt. either a lighter skirt or darker shoes, i think. but the rest looks great!
Posted by stace at July 2, 2008 04:11 PMThat's exactly what I was afraid of, Stace. These are the shoes that should have been: http://www.aldoshoes.com/eng/storeSection/redirect.cfm?sectionID=b2c/style/productDetails.cfm&itemID=68197647&&var=d&ckey=US&colorid=38
Curse you, Aldo sizing!
Lol. I hate you. And also am going to go watch that video now.
Posted by sarah at July 3, 2008 10:29 AMI am having sudden luncheon-outfit insecurity. Maybe I should wear the striped skirt outfit I wore to the temple? Or the blue dress from the Sybrowsky shower?
Posted by lisa at July 3, 2008 11:15 AMI don't know what you wore to the temple. But the outfit you have planned is cute!
Posted by sarah at July 3, 2008 11:32 AMHey. I think those shoes could totally work with the top outfit, personally. They're a little dark, but I wouldn't worry too much about them being noticeably so. You can take my opinion with a grain of salt, but the strength of your shirt color will totally balance out the outfit overall.
Also, I have a cute bracelet that might work for your day outfit, if you want me to bring it. If you're into the bracelet thing. (Or, Lis, if you are.)
Posted by e at July 3, 2008 12:30 PMYes! Bring it! That'd be lovely. Any other jewelry suggestions? I'm still at a loss.
Posted by sarah at July 3, 2008 12:33 PMI'll bring everything that I can think of that you guys might like/use.
Posted by e at July 3, 2008 12:42 PMFor the record, you looked absolutely fabulous. It was so good to see you!
