Lisa: mystery man

Several weeks ago, my neighbors erected this papier-mache figure in their front yard. You can see, it's impressively large...but what is it? Or, who is it?

Is it a bizarre tribute to President Hinckley and his puckish nature? Saint Valentine or an elderly cupid? A tribute to the sculptor's grandfather, who loved acting in community Shakespeare productions?

It's clearly me -- you can tell by the depiction of my trademark rainbow-striped stretch pants. Unfortunately, they've chosen to depict me without my toupee . . .

This guy freaks me out. Is he a gigantic blue leprechaun? I hear they're even more rare than the small green ones.

I drove past him this morning, and his head was looking to the left instead of the right. Creh. Peh.

I think he reminds me of the BFG. Plus, that helps with trying to ignore the creepiness.

Um, I might be getting in the car right now to drive over there. That's icky. Should I be concerned about the street you are living on?
